The University of INES Ruhengeri to start CAD and BIM technology courses under Nziza Training Academy programs.

Rwanda’s only CAD and BIM Technology skills development institution, Nziza Training Academy, has entered into an agreement with the University of INES Ruhengeri to introduce design technology trainings to engineering, architecture and construction personals (lecturers and final year students) of the university on CAD and BIM design technology.

As part of our collaborative activities with the higher educational environment, Nziza training academy has allowed a partnership agreement with INES Ruhengeri university of applied sciences. The partnership will enable the exchange of educational and informative activities and services, access to the NTA’s international expert seminars on engineering and architecture CAD and BIM technology mastery that are annually organized by Nziza Training Academy to enable Rwanda’s professionals to learn global market trending technology in AEC industry under the partnership with Protasoftware- Turkey and BIM Africa. Except for that, the agreement set the in-campus public lectures, free training seminars to students, and funding of capacity development Programs. This mutual agreement aims at bringing current technology in engineering and design to the doorstep of students and educators of the university. Nziza Training Academy will also be working with the university of INES Ruhengeri to shape the future of architectural design and civil engineering with training and support tailored to their academic programs.

On July 23, 2020 is when INES Ruhengeri invited Nziza training academy for partnership negotiation. Accompanied by NSANZAMAHORO Olivier, the coordinator of Musanze training branch of NTA. Mr. Alexandre NZIRORERA had deeply explained the core purposes of his institution to the leadership of civil engineering department at INES Ruhengeri.

The both institutions intends to create educators’ experts in this Industry-demanding technology, which will help them to train students on academic and industry-required contents while in college, in order to give them the competitive advantage in the job market after school, thereby reducing graduate unemployment.

The Vice-Chancellor of INES Ruhengeri, Rev. Fr. Dr HAGENIMANA Fabien and Mr. Alexandre NZIRORERA, CEO of Nziza Training Academy signed the mutual agreement on behalf of their respective institutions. It is in line with NTA’s vision of equipping Rwanda’s professionals with skills that help them to imagine, design and create things using modern CAD and BIM Technology,” The beneficiary faculties are civil Engineering and architecture.
